VANCOUVER, BC, October 18, 2016. – Change in how people work and manage their careers is driving rapid evolution in how people represent and share their skills. This has led to the emergence of skill management as a required function for companies that rely on knowledge workers to deliver their vision. TeamFit recognized this opportunity in 2014 and has built a platform for skill management at professional services organizations. Poised for rapid growth, the company is expanding all aspects of its team.

Kirk Hamilton has joined the board of directors. An experienced technology industry CEO, advisor and investor, Kirk has joined the board because “a strong team is the best competitive advantage a company can have. TeamFit is truly giving professional services companies the best tool to top-grade their project teams efficiently and effectively.  I’m excited to help TeamFit realize their goals” Kirk joins Vancouver business leader Malcolm Collings and co-founders Amar Dhaliwal and Steven Forth on the board.

Brian Conlin has joined the company’s advisory board and is guiding its work with the consulting engineering sector. “As President and CEO, I always recognized that the most successful teams were formed when people connected organically in communities, rather than through hierarchical org charts in companies. We spent years creating a working environment that would foster strong communities across offices, regions and countries. So I was naturally attracted to the work of TeamFit who are creating a platform to help businesses assemble the right skills and people to form winning teams.” Brian was the CEO of Golder Associates and is currently on the Board of Directors of Merrick & Co. in Denver and Vancouver College in Vancouver.

TeamFit is also expanding its product team. Gregory Ronczewski has joined as Director of Product Design. Gregory’s first worked with TeamFit on a Service Design project to rethink all of the touch points TeamFit has with consultants, project managers, resource manager and company leaders. He continues to transform how the company thinks about its service and liked the opportunity so much he joined full-time.

TeamFit’s mission is to help individuals and organizations go beyond realizing their potential to expanding that potential and putting it to work.
