Nugg Solutions appoints co-founder Amar Dhaliwal as non-executive chairman, Param Lalia as director and hires Dr. Lee Iverson as CTO and Felix Tin as Director of User Experience to lead Nugg’s next phase of app development.
Following the successful launch into open beta, Nugg is announcing today several appointments to its board and new hires to lead the next phase of development at Nugg. Nugg has appointed Nugg co-founder Amar Dhaliwal as non-executive chairman of the board and Param Lalia as a director. Nugg has hired Dr. Lee Iverson as CTO to lead the development team and provide leadership in artificial intelligence, security, and privacy. Felix Tin has been hired as the User Experience (UX) lead to help Nugg align its visual and interactive experience across all systems and platforms.
Background on the hires:
Amar Dhaliwal, Chairman (LinkedIn profile). Amar is a leader in the human capital management, talent management, and business performance market. Founder of Training Net and Thinq (sold to Saba May, 2005) and currently Chief Evangelist at Saba. Amar has wide experience leading product development, professional services, and go-to-market teams. He is a co-founder of Nugg.
Param Lalia, Director (LinkedIn profile). Param has extensive experience in solution selling to Fortune 2000 companies and in large professional services implementations at VM Ware and Saba. He is a co-founder of Nugg
Lee Iverson, Ph.D., CTO (LinkedIn profile). Lee is an expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning with a focus on collaborative work, trust, and security. He earned his doctorate from McGill University and worked at SRI International in Palo Alto before returning to Canada to teach in the Electrical Engineering Department at UBC. Lee has been advising Nugg since its founding.
Felix Tin, UX Lead, (LinkedIn profile). With fifteen years UX experience with companies like Logitech and most recently PlentofFish.com, Felix brings a wealth of consumer, online, and product UX design background to Nugg.

Nugg continues to plan for growth through the remainder of the year growing its engineering and sales and marketing teams over the next six months.
